Usync has developed an online dashboard for artists looking to promote their music, message & merchandise to their fans online. Up until now most artists & bands have used myspace to indirectly contact their fans with a blanket approach. Usync's backstage will allow fans an artists to communicate in the one area, with a real idea of who is getting their message.
Great idea, and at first glance it looks like a promising execution.
The ultimate online technology for artists. It is now ready for you to use. Usync, has two main aspects – the Backstage and The Channel. The Backstage is the fan facing front and is essentially a complete website comprising of commercial, marketing, communal and interactive features. Artists receive a link that they can post anywhere (e.g. their website, Myspace page) and by clicking on it the fan is lead to the artist’s own and unique ‘Backstage area’. The fan must follow a simple registration process in order to become a member of the artist’s community. Once a member, the fan gets access to all the different features of the Backstage – blog, news, digital/physical stores, live section, music/video players, Utell, CRedXchange, exclusive content, rewards and so on.

Online EMS Scanners

For some reason I am fascinated with the whole police scanning thing. For someone with only basic electronic / communications I can understand how they do it, but unsure how they do it legally. I found this website that has links to quiet a few Australian Online EMS Scanners. The website does note that the NSW Police will be encrypting their radio transmissions which will mean sites like this will no longer be able to broadcast the Police transmissions on the internet.
But after some searching and a few interesting reads scanning is perfectly legal. Monitoring phone conversations on your scanner is against the law. Apart from that, you can pretty well scan as you please, though discretion is advised when using scanners in public. For instance, being an 'ambulance chaser' and fronting up at accident scenes, hindering emergency services is an extremely silly thing to do.However, you should not use information obtained from listening for commercial gain or criminal activity.
The cost of the equipment is pretty expensive also. Roughly $400-$1200 to get all the gear to start scanning.I guess whatever reason these die hard fans have, it must be pretty rewarding.

Worlds Largest MSN Convo!

I found this website. This guy is going to try and organise the worlds biggest MSN convo in a few weeks time. Screw this I am getting on the wagon.
Well... So i googled a bit, and there doesn't seem to be much about this. Here is my goals and ambitions. After an influence by a friend of mine, who constantly added me to mass MSN messenger conversations... We got to pretty big numbers. But i want to aim for the sky, and get higher. In the 100's maybe. Unless there is a limit (which could ruin this plan for all eternity) So, i plan to make a new account. Just for this sole purpose. And start from scratch. If you wish to start this project...
